Who operates Sorté

Sorté is operated by Eyal Arviv, using the brand BENO74 STUDIOS. For the processing described here, Eyal Arviv is the operator and data controller. Contact privacy@beno74.com.

Local saves and guest cloud profiles

Sorté is one endless coin-sorting game. You explicitly Deal coins, sort numbered and colored ranks, and manually Merge matching coins. A successful Merge advances your Level. Your Trays persist as you play; you can discover new ranks and use Gold to permanently unlock sub-trays for the current Tray.

The app saves your current board and Tray state, Level and Tray progression, discovered ranks and unlock progress, Gold, settings and preferences, and information needed to synchronize your save.

When cloud services are configured and reachable, the app uses Supabase to create or restore a guest authentication profile and mirror your save to the cloud. This happens without asking you to register with an email address or password. Local play can continue when the cloud is unavailable.

Supabase processes a pseudonymous guest user ID, your saved game and preferences, and cloud synchronization metadata. Your device also stores the guest authentication session and information needed to coordinate cloud saves.

“Guest” or “anonymous authentication” does not mean that data cannot be linked to you: the user ID and stored session connect activity and cloud saves over time. There is currently no Apple or Google sign-in, identity linking, public profile editing or user-generated content sharing in Sorté.

A guest profile depends on the session stored on your device. Removing the app or clearing its storage can make your existing cloud save inaccessible; it does not itself delete that save from our cloud service.

Firebase and Google Analytics

Configured versions use Firebase / Google Analytics 4 to understand gameplay and improve the game. Events describe app and game openings, Deal, Move and manual Merge actions, Level advancement, rank discovery, sub-tray unlock interactions, rewarded temporary-slot interactions, and Tray completion or start. Events can include platform, app version, and relevant progression context such as the current Level, Tray and Gold balance.

The app associates subsequent analytics events with the Supabase guest user ID when it becomes available. Google also processes its own pseudonymous app-instance identifiers, standard app and device information, session activity and network information, including approximate location derived from the connection.

Our custom analytics events do not include full boards or saves, the cloud installation ID, authentication tokens, email addresses, names or free-form user text. Google’s automatically collected lifecycle events and technical information are separate from those custom events.

Firebase advertising consent categories are disabled. The analytics configuration disables automatic screen reporting and advertising-identifier collection, and the iOS analytics integration excludes IDFA support.

Sorté does not currently offer an in-app analytics switch. Ad privacy choices described below control advertising and are separate from gameplay analytics. Contact us with questions or requests concerning analytics information associated with your guest profile.

Advertising foundation and privacy choices

Sorté has a rewarded gameplay placement: after an earned rewarded ad, the next locked sub-tray can temporarily open for about 60 seconds without charging Gold. The current implementation uses Google’s test rewarded ad unit during development. Production advertising is not live.

Native versions that include this foundation use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to refresh advertising privacy information and display any required message. The Mobile Ads SDK may initialize only when UMP reports that ads may be requested. UMP can process connection, app and device information and store consent choices even when no gameplay ad is displayed.

Where UMP requires a privacy-options entry, you can reopen it through Settings → Ad privacy choices. The app checks the resulting UMP decision again before permitting further ad requests. You can continue playing when advertising is unavailable or consent is declined. Permission to request ads is not, by itself, consent to personalized advertising.

Current test requests request non-personalized, G-rated ad content. Android advertising-ID permission remains blocked. The app makes no separate automatic Apple App Tracking Transparency request; a UMP-configured flow may ask for Apple permission on iOS. Declining that permission does not prevent play.

When its SDK and test ads are used, Google may process app/device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostics for delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. We will review the policy and privacy controls before introducing production placements, advertising personalization or additional ad partners.

Why information is processed and who receives it

We process information to run the game, preserve and restore progress, authenticate guest sessions, understand gameplay, maintain reliability and security, manage privacy choices, and respond to requests. The services used for these purposes are:

  • Supabase: authentication and cloud database services. Supabase privacy policy.
  • Google Firebase and Google Analytics: app analytics. Firebase privacy information and Google privacy policy.
  • Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform (UMP): the advertising and consent features described above. How Google uses information from apps and sites.

Those providers also process technical service information under their applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law or to address abuse or protect the service. We do not publish your guest save as a public profile.

Storage and retention

Local records remain until they are replaced by the app or removed through your device’s storage controls. Cloud saves persist separately from local storage. The current app does not automatically delete guest cloud profiles after a fixed period of inactivity.

Cloud records are kept to provide saves and handle requests; analytics records, operational logs and backups follow the relevant service settings and provider retention processes. Support correspondence may be kept to resolve your request and maintain necessary records. There is no single deletion period for every category, and uninstalling does not automatically erase provider records.

Deletion requests and privacy rights

To request access, correction or deletion of Sorté data, email privacy@beno74.com and name Sorté. If you can, contact us before clearing the app’s stored session so we can help establish which guest record belongs to you. Do not email session tokens or passwords.

There is no self-service cloud-account deletion control in the current app. We may need further information to locate the relevant record and verify a request; an email address alone may not identify an anonymous guest profile. Clearing a local save and requesting deletion of cloud or analytics data are separate actions.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a data-protection authority. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal obligations, and backups follow their service lifecycle. We will explain relevant limitations when responding.

International processing and security

Our service providers operate internationally. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the providers’ applicable processing terms. Their privacy information explains their transfer arrangements.

The apps use encrypted network connections to the cloud services and access controls for cloud records. No device, network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

This policy page and contacting us

This page contains no advertising, analytics tags, tracking pixels or consent forms. You can read it without signing in, accepting cookies or enabling JavaScript. Our website hosting providers process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and requested URL, to deliver and protect the site.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond to support and privacy requests. Please do not send passwords or authentication tokens.

Policy updates

We will update this page and its date when these practices change. Material changes will be communicated as required. New account, analytics or advertising features may need revised disclosures and privacy choices before release.
