About Shapescraper

Shapescraper is operated by Eyal Arviv, using the brand BENO74 STUDIOS. For the processing described here, Eyal Arviv is the operator and data controller. Contact privacy@beno74.com.

Shapescraper: Stack & Slice is a one-tap stacking game for iOS and Android from BENO74 STUDIOS. You drop sliding blocks onto a tower; whatever hangs over the edge is sliced off.

You do not need an account. There is no game server or cloud-save service, and the game does not send your scores or gameplay to BENO74 STUDIOS. The game is free and is funded by ads served through Google AdMob, described below.

Game data stored on your device

The app stores your game progress locally on your device: best scores for each shape and mode, which shapes and modes you have unlocked, your Daily challenge results and calendar (best score, perfect drops and completed days), whether sound is on, and whether you own Remove Ads. This information stays in the app’s storage on your device and is not uploaded to us or to any other service.

Deleting the app, or clearing its storage, permanently removes this information. We cannot restore it, because we never receive a copy.

Remove Ads purchase

You can buy Remove Ads as a one-time in-app purchase. Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; we never receive your payment details.

The store keeps the record that your Apple ID or Google account owns Remove Ads. The app asks the store for that record when it starts and when you tap Restore purchases, so the purchase follows your account to a new device. We do not run our own purchase server or keep a copy of your purchases.

Advertising

Shapescraper shows two kinds of ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch (to continue your tower, unlock a shape early or unlock a past Daily challenge), and a full-screen ad between some rounds. You can keep playing without watching the optional videos. If you own Remove Ads, the game shows no ads and gives these rewards without a video.

To deliver, measure and protect ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device’s advertising identifier (the Android advertising ID, or Apple’s IDFA when you allow tracking), app-scoped identifiers, an approximate location derived from your IP address, ad views and taps, and app performance and diagnostic information. Google receives this information directly; we do not.

Google may use this information to show personalized ads where you have allowed it, or non-personalized ads otherwise, under its own policies. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google privacy policy.

Your ad privacy choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other regions where it is required, the game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before ads are personalized. Where this applies, you can change your choice at any time from Ad privacy choices on the game’s title and game-over screens.

On iPhone, the game asks once whether it may track you across apps for advertising (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining does not stop you from playing.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s settings, usually under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Children

Shapescraper is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and requests

We do not hold gameplay, purchase or advertising data about you. Information collected for ads is held by Google, and purchase records are held by Apple or Google; you can manage them through the choices above and through the stores’ own controls.

For questions, or to exercise rights you may have under applicable law (such as access, deletion, objection or withdrawing consent), email privacy@beno74.com and name Shapescraper. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

International processing and security

Google processes advertising information internationally, including in the United States, under its own transfer arrangements. Ad requests use encrypted network connections. No device, network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
